Welcome!
Whether your American Frontier Culture
needs run to an authentic handmade hunting pouch,
a leather bound journal, dip
pens, watercolor sets or early
American folk art, you've come to the right web
site.
I
have been making what I call hunting pouches for
years. In fact, I've probably made more than
most. I believe the count to be up over 400 at
last tally. You may call them shooting
bags, shot bags, possible
bags, day bags or haversacks.
No matter. If you shoot a rifle gun or a smooth
bore, flintlock or a percussion, a musket, a
trade gun, or a squirrel rifle, I can make you a
pouch that will fit your needs. My work is owned by museums, curators
and collectors. My pouches have been featured in
videos, tv documentaries and numerous times in
magazines and on their covers...Muzzle
Blasts, MUZZLELOADER, as well as in the Dixie
Gunworks Black Powder Annual and the
latest Book of Buckskinning, for
example.
What
makes a Ken Scott Hunting Pouch different from a
"run of the mill" or what I call a
"grade" pouch? My pouches are
handcrafted, one of a kind pouches that look like
200 year old originals. My work is well known and
is recognized by knowledgeable reenactors for its
uniqueness, top of the line high quality, and
attention to detail.
I invite your inquiries. Please
